I have purchased my HP laptop 2 months ago.It have 1 Usb 3.0 port and 2 Usb 2.0 ports.Sometimes suddenly all the 3 usb port stops working.if usb drive is already pugged in,it will continue to work but if remove and reconnect the device is not detecting.It usually happens when the laptop is charging or just discconected after a full charge I encountered the same issue and resolved it by navigating to Device Manager (right-click on 'This PC' > select 'Manage' > go to 'Device Manager'). Look for 'Universal Serial Bus controllers'; you might notice a yellow alert on 'USB Root Hub (USB 3.0)'. If not, the ports might malfunction, which could be why your Acer Predator Helios 300 USB 3.0 ports are not working after the Windows update. The issue isn't the update or a faulty USB device. You can confirm if it's the power supply by doing the following: Unplug the charger; Disconnect USB device; Restart your laptop; Connect the USB device TDJML.
